Bookplates fascinate me. It is not that I feel the need to have one for any of my own books. However, they often have nifty designs with personalized graphics and signature, so having one would still be pretty neat. Hence it occurred to me to make an ambigram of the words 'Ex Libris', which could make a nice bookplate.

Trying to make a rotational ambigram of it was a bit of a pain—the x is often an especially nasty character to deal with if it is not mapped to itself. This reflective totem version was therefore a very welcome alternative.
