At the moment I am reading the historical novel 'The Indian Clerk' by David Leavitt. With the lack of inspiration for ambigram themes, I resorted to the book's characters. Here are two ambigrams of the main characters' names.
Both are mathematicians who really existed: Srinivasa Ramanujan, a mathematical genius from India and G. H. Hardy, a prominent British mathematician who discovered Ramanujan's talent and brought him to England. They had a close research collaboration despite their differences in personalities. The two would have deserved to be united into one symbiotogram, if only their names had not worked much better as separate ambigrams.

One of the best 'hardy' ambigram around.
