Ambigram Font Update - Download Available!

Good news regarding the ambigram font! I managed to convert it into a real font file—see download link & new license below. Note that this is possibly not the final version, some details may need tweaking.

The whole conversion process turned out not to be trivial at all. The glyphs were originally designed in GIMP with paths, so the first step was exporting them as svg file. I manually reformatted the svg data to conform the svg font standard, which required some studying of the official svg font specifications. The modified svg was subsequently imported into FontForge, where I made the final adjustments and created the OpenType file. FontForge caused some trouble as well. I had to install cygwin along with it, which is somewhat complicated and failed the first time. Anyway, in the end I figured it all out and learned a whole lot about fonts in the process.

The font is now called 'Lake Reflection'. It contains quite a few extra characters as well. You can use nearly all characters available on a regular keyboard (except ` ~ ^ / \ ). As I said, this is not necessarily the final version. If you notice any aspects that could be polished, or if you encounter any technical problems when installing or using the font, feel free to ask questions and provide feedback.
